David Cresson

FOUNDER

Dave came to the Coastside nearly fifty years ago. He founded the Half Moon Bay History Association in 2006 to see local history preserved and celebrated. Much of its success is due to his hard work and devotion.

Dave has had a long and successful business career. He has served the community as President of the local Rotary Club, as District Governor for Rotary International, and as President of the Coastal Arts League.

Dave owns one of the historic buildings in Half Moon Bay, the Zaballa House. This unique structure was built in 1855 by Spanish immigrant Estanislao Zaballa. Today, it is a bed and breakfast inn which features a “history room” for visitors to enjoy.
