For users with a registered account on our website, we store the personal information that they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their own personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site as an administrator or contributor, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase (delete) any personal data we hold regarding your account. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. We do not allow posting or commenting, other than by contributors.
Where your data is sent
We do not enable information gathering through analytics other than types of hosts and browsers, as supplied by your browser. We collect no user names, emails, or login information, with the exception of those becoming members or donating to the Half Moon Bay History Association. In those cases, we may collect your email address, Paypal or Venmo identifiers, or phone numbers, in order to thank our donors, and track membership. We do not transfer or share this information to any other organization.
